(Invalidation and Revocation of Nomination of Pilot Inspector)
Article 164-(13). A nomination under Article 72 paragraph 9 of the Law shall lose its validity when a pilot inspector comes under any of the following subparagraphs:
(1)When the pilot inspector has neglected to undergo examination wider Article 164(11)paragraph 1, or refused examination under paragraph 1 of the preceding Article;
(2)When he has failed the examination under Article 164(1 1)paragraph 1 or under paragraph 1, of the preceding paragraph;
(3)When he has ceased to belong to the designated scheduled air carrier specified in the nomination;
(4)When said designated carrier has ceased to he a designated carrier;
2. The Minister of Transport may, when a pilot inspector comes under any of the following subparagraphs, revoke the nomination under Article 72 paragraph 9 of the Law for said pilot inspector:
(1)When he has violated the provisions of the Law or of Ordinances based on the Law;
(2)When he has committed a dishonest act in the course of obtaining nomination under Article 72 paragraph 9 of the Law;
(3)When he has committed a dishonest act in executing approval under Article 72 paragraph 5 of the Law or in conducting an examination under paragraph 6 of the same Article.

 

(Confirmation before Departure)
Article 164-(14). The matters which a pilot-in-command shall confirm in accordance with the provisions of Article 73-(2)of the Law shall he as follows:
(1)The state of maintenance of said aircraft and its equipment;
(2)Take-off weight, landing weight, position of the center of gravity, and weight distribution;
(3)Information which will be furnished by the Minister of Transport under the provisions of Article 99 of the Law (hereinafter referred to as "flightinformation");
(4)Weather information required for said flight;
(5)The loaded weight and the quality of both fuel and lubricating oil;
(6)The safety of loads.

 

2. In the case of the confirmations of the matters prescribed in subparagraph 1 of the preceding paragraph, the pilot-in-command shall check the aircraft logbook and other maintenance records, shall check the outside of the aircraft, shall carry out the ground trial operation of the engines, and shall check other operations of the aircraft.
